Use cases

How people actually use Reetle.

Same hub on the back of the same smartphone. Three different workflows. Pick the one that sounds like yours.

The meeting-heavy operator

Take meeting notes without breaking eye contact.

Four to six meetings a day. Each one ends with a half-page of decisions you should have caught, a to-do list you'll rewrite twice tonight, and the quiet feeling that you were half-listening while typing. Reetle records the conversation from one tap on the back screen, and the app turns it into a transcript in 100+ languages with every commitment pulled into a clean task list. Your phone never leaves your pocket. The client never sees the back of a laptop.

The Reetle E-Ink dashboard on the back of a phone, showing recordings and today's task list.
Recordings, reader, and today's tasks, one thumb away on the back of your phone.

One tap at a time

  1. 9:00. Client check-in. Tap record on the back screen as you walk in. The hub starts recording. Eye contact stays where it belongs.
  2. 9:48. Walk to next meeting. Sync the recording; transcript and action items land in the app by the time you sit down.
  3. 14:30. Sensitive review. Switch to Private Mode. Recording stays on the device. Nothing sent to the cloud.
  4. 18:00. End of day. Your task list wrote itself. No retyping. No "what did we agree?" messages tomorrow morning.

The student and researcher

Fifteen hours of lectures. Transcribed. Searchable.

A week of seminars, reading lists, interview recordings, and a phone that is, frankly, the main thing keeping you off the page. Reetle holds the readings, records the lectures, and turns hours of audio into something you can actually search before an exam. The E-Ink screen on the back means you can read on the bus without burning your eyes or your laptop battery.

A study week, end to end

  1. Monday lecture. One tap at the start. Sync after class and the transcript is yours. Searchable by professor's name, by topic, by quote.
  2. Tuesday on the train. Open the hub. The week's PDF readings load on the E-Ink screen. No glare, no notifications, no battery anxiety.
  3. Wednesday interview for the dissertation. Record it, transcribe it, quote from it cleanly tomorrow.
  4. Sunday revision. Pull up your own AI summary of every lecture from the term. Pattern-match across weeks in minutes.

The productivity enthusiast

The capture layer your second brain was missing.

You have the system. Notion or Obsidian for thinking, Things or Todoist for doing, Otter or Plaud for recording. What you don't have is a snap-once-record device that doesn't require unlocking your phone to use. Reetle is the friction-free capture layer that sits on top of everything you already built, and removes the one moment of friction that costs you the best ideas.

Built for the stack you already have

  1. On a walk. Tap once. Speak the idea before it's gone. Sync, and the transcript is in the app by the time you sit down.
  2. Mid-call. Tap a thought into your to-do list without leaving the conversation. Ambient E-Ink keeps the list in front of you all day.
  3. Friday review. Smart Reviews surface what you finished and what is still open. Less time auditing, more time deciding.
  4. The reading list. Send the long-form articles to the back of your phone. Read on E-Ink instead of doomscrolling on the front.
